Apartmán Hrebienok, Vysoké Tatry

The location was perfect. A few minutes walk to the train station and about 3 minute walk to the cable car. Excellent restaurants nearby and a few minutes walk to a good Co-Op supermarket.

The booking mentioned a sauna but I think this meant steam in the shower room. In fairness we were so busy enjoying ourselves out and about we did not contact our host about this. She did make clear on arrival to contact her if we had any questions so we have no complaints about this but could be made clear to future guests.

Paní na náš počkala přes pozdní příjezd, byla velmi vtřícná. Matrace na postelích byly až překvapivě velmi pohodlné. Výhledy na hory jsou nádherné.

Lovely host, location, design

1. Spacious and nicely decorated clean apartment. 2. Welcome wine bottle and chocolates. 3. Location is very good.

1. The check out time was 10am. However, the manager came in at 9:45 am to clean the apartment. We had to let her in while we were still inside. Hence, invasion of privacy. 2. The check-in and check-out process is very complicated and confusing. During check in the manger showed us everything that we must know of the apartment and handed over two electronic key cards of the apartment, in return we had to pay 40€ as deposit. During check out the manager who came in 15 mins earlier took both our keys on the scheduled check out time at 10am and handed over the 40€ deposit back to us. We requested her to let us keep our luggage for next few hours until our train arrives. She asked us to go to the reception building and keep our luggage there. At the reception we asked the receptionist to let us keep our luggage, however she refused as we had already returned both our keys! We then had to SMS the cleaning manager who asked us to go the reception. After about 30 mins of waiting and to and fro SMSs the receptionist finally agreed to keep our luggage. All this could have been avoided if there would have been clear communication between the manager who took our keys and the one who was at the reception.
