Ninh Binh Royal Homestay

After 2 weeks all around Vietnam the Royal was where we finally relaxed. The staff was excellent and always had a genuine smile and accommodated us without question. We showed up to check in and I had botched the dates, our host didn’t skip a beat and got us situated.

A little noise of the country (chickens) but got used to it right away.

Off the main road in a small hamlet, it's an oasis of peace. My bungalow was really nice and spotless,with a roomy bathroom. Best shower I've had in Vietnam so far (2 weeks in). The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. And all that for a really good price.

I can't say anything negative. It was perfect.

We loved our stay, probably the best in our 1 month trip around Vietnam! The location, away from the more beaten paths of Ninth Binh and Tam Coc was perfect to arrange a few days visiting the surrounding areas. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful even when I unfortunately got some flu and had to spend a few days just resting. They provided a scooter in good condition as well as free bikes if we so wanted. The pho that we had for breakfast literally every day was amazing! So tasty! The whole place is beautifuly manteined with lots of plants, flowers, trees and festival lights in the evening, very very magical and pretty.

There are quite a few roosters that might annoy you in the morning but I was ok with earplugs.

We liked everything! The room, the amazing staff, the exterior garden and the location. We rented a motorbike and they have bicycles for free. Best place we stayed in Vietnam so far.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Staff is super friendly, helpful and attentive. Good calm location, beautiful area with nice pool. To reach main tourist attractions easy by bicykel (for free the stay) or by scooter. No problem to order Grab to further destinations. Highly recommended. Comfortable big double bed, spacious bathroom. Good working AC and WiFi even for those who works remotely.

Just some extra shelves or small wardrobe would be helpful. But anyway it was manageable even we had big luggages.

Definitely the best place we staid in. The owner was very friendly and offered a home away from home. The entire place is made with love and the rooms were spacious and clean in a very relaxing atmosphere. It's a good location to explore the different caves and you can use bycicles or even rent scooters from the location. It's not a luxury hotel, but you will feel very well taken care off and there is everything you need. Will come back the next time I'm in Vietnam.

Nice little homestay, away from the noise at Ninh Binh. The rooms / cottages are beautiful. Decent breakfast, They also provide scooter rentals. Not so far from Hang Mua. Situated by the river / canal and amidst a farm. Hosts are nice and hospitable.

If you are staying at Ninh Bingh only for a day then I would recommend to stay somewhat closer to the main attractions. This would be a great stay if you had some more time to explore Ninh Binh at a relaxed pace.
