Det lå veldig fint til, hadde et flott lite svømmebasseng og deilig seng. Familien som driver hotellet er fantastisk flotte mennesker, så de gjorde oppholdet komplett, storfornøyd med overnattingsstedet.

Mark est un habitué et n’aura aucun problème à vous aiguiller sur toutes vos activités. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et plus copieux qu’habituellement. Location de scooter facile et présence d’une des plus belles plages d’Amed littéralement de l’autre côté de la route. Cuisine à disposition

Mark is a very nice and welcoming host. The villa is well located close to the beach where we could enjoy snorkeling activities. Also Mark recommended us some incredibly nice spots to see the sunset while enjoying dinner. We absolutely recommend this place.

Mark, Inayah and staff are exceptional hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay in Lipah such a memorable and relaxing experience. Mark arranged all our transfers, snorkel hire, drivers for touring, in house massages (the best!) and shared his local knowledge and recommendations not only for our stay in Lipah but also for our onward journey which helped to make our holiday experience seamless and stress free. Breakfast served on our balcony each morning was delicious including great coffee from Java. We will miss waking up to our sunrise view across the sea while observing and listening to the sounds of the morning rituals of the village as it starts the day. Thankyou to all the team -we hope to visit again one day 🙏

Paradise!

I would like to preface this review by saying I booked this hotel on the basis of the fantastic reviews. As a result, I feel it is only fair to balance these with my own experience of Pondok Wisata Balty Bali, which effectively completely contradicts the reviews I read before travelling. Firstly, in the name of fairness, there are positives to this property. It is for the main part, clean and comfortable. There is a nice balcony and we had the sea view room which had a lovely view. It is located a stones throw from Lipah beach. Lipah beach is fab! More quiet than some other beaches around Amed, no rubbish, although as a trade off it is also a little more out of the way of shops/ other places of convenience. One other thing to note, is that if you are travelling during the rainy season the road leading to the property floods, and the river adjacent to the sea view room is extremely loud, becoming closer to a waterfall. This is just a side note to be aware of. Unfortunately, our negatives greatly outweighed the positives. They also begin before we even get to Amed. -The owner Mark got in touch approx a month before we traveled to Indonesia. I thought this was lovely. As a result, I already had his number in whatsapp, so when we arrived in Indonesia, i got back in touch with him to organise a tour to hike Batur volcano. This tour is advertised by the property as bookable through them. I would like to contextualise this by saying I am a travel agent who specialises in bespoke tours through Indonesia. I was aware that Amed was a distance from the treck, but due to having many plans during our stay in Indonesia, it was one of the only opportunities I had to do the hike. This is beside the point, because it is none of the proprietor’s business what I want to do, when, and why, if it is a service they offer. However, Mark made sure it was his business, talking me out of the tour and effectively refusing to help me book it.
