Mattress was a bit uncomfortable

Great location and quiet

Owners/neighbours weren't overly friendly. All beds felt like they were made of concrete!

House was very well kept, clean and warm inside. Great having a view of the sea. Tastefully decorated. Peaceful and no road noise. Many thoughtful items in the house, eg umbrellas, tea, coffee, milk, dishwasher tablets, etc. Location was very good for touring around Fife. Hosts messaged before our arrival. Good value for money.

Tried to open door where keysafe was, using key in the box, but eventually worked out it was for the other door. Difficulty setting up Wi-Fi, as password in instructions didn’t work. Used the details on the router and it worked. Clearer up to date instructions would have helped. We didn’t have a good first impression as the house next to the steading was derelict. I have an allergy to feathers and advised of this on booking. I would have appreciated to be made aware that the settees had feather cushions and some of the bedding. If I had known I would have brought antihistamines with me. Both double beds were very hard and impacted on our sleep, but the single and trundle bed was fine.
