The location was very good

2 rooms were let to a large group of locals who played super loud music till another guest rang the owner about 11.00. Singing started once more at 1.00 and it was impossible to sleep . On my second morning I was told they didn’t have the foodstuffs to serve breakfast . Poor staff were embarrassed .

Beautiful beachfront location with easy access via tuk tuk to the Unawatuna dining and shopping area. Beautiful rooftop terrace as well to watch the sunset.

Initial misunderstanding on arrival about our booking. Note that at this property the Superior rooms have no windows at all. Luckily for us the deluxe rooms were available so we ended up booking them instead and they were fantastic.

Die Strandlage und der Pool sind top. Es ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Süden. Die Zimmer recht neu. Unbedingt den Meerblick buchen!

Der Start war holprig, angeblich war ein anderes Zimmer gebucht, man fand unsere Buchung nicht und man könnte das Haus besser in Stand halten. Im Vergleich mit anderen Unterkünften war die Preis Leistung nicht angemessen. Auch das Essen war zu teuer im Vergleich.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a room at Villa Reef Talpe & from the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and exceptional service provided by the staff. The room itself was comfortable and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The view of the front beach from my room was absolutely breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop for my time there. And its definitely value for the rate. Overall, my stay at Villa Reef Talpe was nothing short of wonderful. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the beach with excellent service.

Aircon vereist und ausgefallen, teilweise kein Warmwasser, Kaltwasser kein Druck, Kopfdusche deshalb nicht funktionsfähig, Küchenbecken verstopft, Schränke schließen nicht, Stühle unbequem, Terrasse unkomfortabel, Pooldusche schmutzig.

Truly a slice of paradise! My one-night stay was incredibly rejuvenating. Will be back soon

Oh I loved this place, beautiful beach front property, very relaxed, room was pretty cleaned and everything was on point, delicious breakfast and food, really good WiFi and the staff they were very kind and very helpful all the time, highly recommend this place, had a great time in here.

Красивый необычный пляж с рифом рядом. Можно заниматься снорклингом. Мало людей на пляже.

В номере старая мебель с пятнами. Плесень. Персонал не рассказал нам о бесплатном завтраке. А также вышло недопонимание: мы думали, что жилье уже оплачено в букинге, но оказалось, что нет. В итоге, хозяйка стала написывать нам и угрожать полицией, в то время как мы гуляли и наслаждались вечером. Это очень сильно испортило впечатление. Номер очень маленький и в целом вилла не стоит своих денег.

The location of the property is nice and adjoins a beautiful section of the beach.

The quality of basic standards at this hotel are very poor. The beds had dirty sheets hidden under the top cover (picture is attached in this review), which seemed that they were not changed from the previous guests. We were aware of numerous other guests complaining about the poor quality of the hotel. There was no hot water in the rooms, no towels were provided, room locks were broken and the kitchen was not operational. The hotel staff on-site, while helpful and friendly, were simply not trained to operate a hotel. When we complained to the management, they refused to provide us with a refund stating that we should have complained earlier - however, the issues were not visible at the time of check in. We noted that their license with the Sri Lanka tourist board is from 2022 and has expired.
