Blue Ocean Mount Lavinia

This property location and everything about it is awesome. It is 50 yards to walk to the beach. We were able to buy anything we needed in terms of food or shopping because the shops are 550 yards walking distance. It has a well-equipped kitchen, and we were able to cook one or two meals in the apartment. The best feature in this apartment is the master bedroom facing the Indian ocean. We woke up in the morning to the beautiful scene of sunrise, sea breeze and the soothing sound of the waves. The property owners are very attentive and hospitable. We were able to check in early at no cost. We will definitely rebook this apartment when we visit Sri Lanka again in June of 2025.

The appartment was well maintained, and had all the utensils and basic amenities. It’s a beach front appartment (150M aways from shacks and beach). We stayed here for 3 days, and we did cook our own meal. It has 24/7 security surveillance. There is a roof top swimming pool, you can have the whole view of the beach. The Balcony/patio is just fantastic; overlooking the sea. As it’s close to the beach, grocery stores are like 1-2kms away. However, ubereats works seamlessly. The host and the manager were available over a message. All the details were given properly, and the picture posted here justifies. Only issue is they don’t have an online payment system nor accept card. Either you need have SLR or USD. I did point out to the manager, and he said they have applied for a card machine. Apart for that, there wasn’t any issue. The property was top notch, they provided everything from masks, plastic bags to water bottles, and also some very basic groceries. Will recommend this property if you are looking for a comfortable stay.

Our stay at the apartment was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything was spot on. The host made sure we were comfortable and went above and beyond to cater to all our needs. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making us feel at home right away. One of the highlights was the rooftop pool — a great spot to relax, and our daughter had an amazing time splashing around! The location was ideal, and we felt we were in great hands throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience in Colombo!

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about the property. Every aspect of our stay was well thought out, and the owner made sure that every need was attended to, leaving us with no complaints!
