"Passable"

Tess was lovely and the location was great.

The room was very tight and basic and there was a terrible sewer smell in the bathroom.

"Good clean and restful"

The quiet. I had a very good undisturbed sleep every night. The effective air conditioning. The spaciousness.

It would have been nice to have breakfast there.

"Good location for FortKochi"

nice spacious room and kitchen on the top floor

No fridge in the otherwise spacious kitchen. there was one a few years ago which was very useful. Beds not very comfortable for tall people

"for short stay its ok but for long is not"

we had NO breakfast offered, the Stay house has no breakfast on service , we had to walk around to look for breakfast that was very disappointed

could be better if the breakfast was included

Tess was very welcoming and friendly. She always made time to talk to us and had plenty of suggestions for places and activities in the area. We felt like one of the family. She was open to suggestions to improve the residence.

"Definitely recommend this stay to anyone, and Tess is an excellent host"

The location was very nice and Tess is the absolute best host we’ve had during our stay in India (over 5 weeks)

The beds weren’t great, they were alright for the value but would have been nice if they were better

"Kindness and hospitality shown in fort Cochi"

The place was very clean and the beds comfortable. The people were very helpful and friendly. When I became ill at the end of the trip, they went out of their way to help me and showed great kindness and concern, bringing a thermometer and dry toast. The property is situated very near to the town so we could easily walk there and the hosts were able to recommend places to eat.

Nothing I didn’t like. Chairs or a sofa on the upstairs corridor would be a useful addition.
