The owner was very hospitable and friendly.Situated close to the tourist centre of Fort Kochi very convenient for restaurants etc Room and bed clean.

The room was large enough and lovely and clean as was the shower room, the family that run this place are really friendly and helpful people, your not just renting a room your getting support if you need it. For me as a solo traveller it was perfect! I definitely would recommend staying there.

Leaving!! There are some stairs to negotiate if your not young and fit like me

How wonderful to see a property with so many of the small things that make the big difference. Bedside tables, great lighting, shampoo sachets, super bed and sheet and blanket - all spotless. Best of all the staff communication before I even arrived checking I was ok - then resolving a tuk tuk price dispute on my arrival - helping me get away transport wise - and the ultimate location for the boats and shops and bus station. Book today as this is a total gem!

Location excellent to our taste, away from the milling masses in bazaars. Owners Johnson and Tess were excellent hosts, looked every way to help us enjoy our stay. Cannot fault them in any way. We met them as clients and parted as friends.

None at all, but, if there is one that is the absence of a TV in the room. Even then, there is nothing worth watching on the Indian TV channels. Even the news telecasts are so "Indo-centric" there is no world outside India, except for Pakistan!!

I stayed at Tess Holistay for one night and would definetely recommend. Good location and all facilities you need. But most of all: Johnson is a very welcoming, kind and considarate. Due to a delayed flight I arrived in the middle of the night and even brought a friend that desperetely needed a room, and he stayed up to welcome and help! I would definetly come back here :)
