The Daffodil Hut

The hut was clean, well equipped and spacious. We did go in during a heatwavr and the heat in the hut was intense but we brought a fan and it didnt ruin our break away. The views were spectacular. The area was so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were lovely and friendly they answered questions quickly and were on hand if needed. We didn't have any problems with Internet or phone signal not that we needed it. Loved the little wildlife garden lots of butterflies, dragonflies and birds. It was all the aspects of camping but with alot more comfort. Loved it

Some of the garden area needed strimming back a little and weeding around the hot tub. Needed blinds on the window in the kitchenette area. Could of done with some storage boxes under the bed to store clothes and food. A few more hooks around too hang towels and coats out of the way.

Our bed was comfortable, the facilities were adequate, the hut was well laid out, and the hot tub was a winner.

There was no WiFi and the TV didn’t work. Generally there need a bit of TLC on the hut and it’s surround. We didn’t know where to go, so had to knock and ask. Parking was right for two cars. We couldn’t park outside the hut so had a hundred metre walk. Cooking breakfast was a challenge given the lack of plug sockets.

Well looked after property, nice and tidy with facilities and all as described. Very friendly and helpful host. Perfect place to visit during summertime and warm weather. Hot tub was wonderful, however we didnt make use of it much due to wind/weather. Shower was great with instant hot water. Log burner/heating great. WiFi available which was a real help.

Bed wasn't very comfortable, we had bad winds/weather on our 2nd night which kept us awake creating a lot of noise within hut. Dates to visit needs considering for this reason. Door didn't lock or unlock very easily especially from inside which could have become an issue in the event of an emergency. No blind on window above sink area, allowing a lot of light in. TV didnt work very well probably due to weather and signal.

Everything was good the bed was so so the road in was a bit bumpy but it was so nice there I more than made up for it
