Sahara Luxe Camp

We had an amazing time at the camp in Merzouga. The camel ride at sunset was beautiful, and the ATV tour across the dunes added a real sense of adventure. We also enjoyed sandboarding, a delicious dinner, and traditional music around the fire. Our tent was comfortable and clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming. A truly memorable experience for us as a couple.

Μείναμε μία νύχτα σε αυτό το όμορφο καταυλισμό στην έρημο κατά τη διάρκεια του ταξιδιού μας στο Μαρόκο και ήταν μια υπέροχη εμπειρία. Η βόλτα με την καμήλα στους αμμόλοφους ήταν αξέχαστη και ο καταυλισμός ήταν άνετος και καθαρός. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και φιλόξενο, ενώ το παραδοσιακό δείπνο ήταν πεντανόστιμο. Το να παρακολουθούμε τα αστέρια τη νύχτα και την ανατολή το πρωί έκανε τη διαμονή μας μαγική. Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον επισκεφθεί τη Μεργούγκα.

We went by 4x4, spent a great night in the camp, and enjoyed tasty food. The sunrise camel ride was beautiful, and riding back on a quad bike was so much fun! The team was very friendly and made everything perfect. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable night at the traditional Berber camp in the heart of the Merzouga dunes. The atmosphere was magical, surrounded by golden sands under a sky full of stars. The hospitality of the local guides was exceptional, making us feel truly welcomed with delicious traditional food and engaging stories about Berber culture. The evening was filled with activities like drumming around the campfire, stargazing, and even a short camel trek to watch the sunset. An authentic and peaceful experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the Sahara.

The place is super nice and well organised (if you consider that it is in the middle of a desert). The stuff is super helpful and speaks a loooot of languages, so non need to worry. When we arrived with the camel caravan, we had a quick shower, and then we went to eat in the big tent. After we gathered in the fire camp and the local guys started singing and playing the drums. Then we all came together and started playing and singing. The most amazing thing about this place is the silence and the darkness. If the weather is good, you will be able to see all the stars that are super bright and the hole vibe of the place will allow you to reflect on yourself and think about things you are not normally able to think because of the everyday stress and noise. I think that is the true highlight of the trip and the desert life. The complete silence under the stars.

This was one of the best experiences of my life, and I 100% recommend this camp – especially because of the amazing hospitality and kindness from Youssef, Rachiid and the rest of the crew. They were so warm and welcoming, making every moment special. I’ve seen other camps, but this one is by far the coziest since it’s right in the middle of the dunes. The tent was super clean – cleaner than some riads I’ve stayed in – and the service was amazing. The music was just perfect. 😍 This place is truly something special, and I can’t recommend it enough. Ending the day under the stars was pure magic. I can’t wait to return and feel the sand under my feet again! 🐪🫶

Sunset and sunrise camel rides were magical, with a break for sandboarding and taking stunning photos. The guided quad biking tour was an incredible way to explore the desert up close—a unique and beautiful moment. The on-site dinner was fantastic, prepared with fresh local produce. Special thanks to Houssain for his excellent cooking! The tents were cozy, complete with blankets, and ensuring a comfortable night in the desert. Evenings around the campfire with traditional Gnawa music added a cultural charm to the experience. The family’s hospitality, kindness, and eagerness to share their traditions made this trip truly rewarding. Highly recommend this camp for anyone seeking an authentic desert adventure. This was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. The desert camp was beautiful and the staff were so welcoming. We enjoyed the camel ride, the stargazing, and the traditional music and dancing. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Next morning we did tour Quad biking in dunes.
