Greater Grand Crossing/Hyde Park

Location was good and near transit. Most of our stay was to go to White Sox game and WNBA game which we had convenient access to. The bus directly to Navy Pier being near was a plus.

It was a little confusing to find off the street but once we figured it out it was fine.

I want to be positive, but I can’t

The worst was party of neighbours till 4 am. It was not possible to sleep!!! Dropping water from neighbours in the bathroom. I feel like owner is trying to have nice flat for renting, but it is not possible with neighbours like that. In the end I almost did not sleep at all. When there was not party I really felt like neighbours had to move all furnitures till really late night (there is no excuse and owner should consider stop renting this flat).

Nice and clean. Very relaxing Don't let the outside fool you because once you get inside, you will be pleased!

There were only towels, no wash cloths.If there were chairs out back to sit outside, it would have been perfect!

Close to “L”. Liked the shower head. Host worked through problems promptly. Nice television.

Driving up to it- unmoved lawn & trash about. Unsafe to be out after dark. Noisy tenants upstairs late into the night.

It was close to the train station.

We stated on our booking that 3 persons would be staying here. We were only provided with 2 bath towels. We relayed this to the owner. He stated the extra towels were in a locked cabinet. He never came to unlock it so we had to go out and buy towels. We were told quiet hours were a certain time. However, the people upstairs were keeping noise and running around until 1-2am every night. The sheets were old and need updating. We found old croissants in a cupboard. The neighborhood isn't very safe at night. Our flight was delayed, and the owner seemed annoyed by this because it delayed our arrival time.

the neighbors upstairs are very noisy, mostly at night. also the location wasn’t ideal, i recommend googling the neighborhood in advance and avoid being alone at night and taking the red line downtown.
