The location was convenient to family.

I requested a fridge in the room. I got an email confirmation that i would be accommodated. When i got there, the owner said that they had no rooms with fridges. Also, the owner couldn’t put through my card as credit, it had to be debit. He asked for my pin!? I had to decline, saying I wasn’t comfortable giving that out.

I liked how close the hotel was to Philly. It wasn't in a busy area and was easy to find off the 76. We had a few issues with the room and the staff got us into a new room. The heat in the new room worked well and the bed was comfortable despite the company needing to invest in their facility.

The first room had an odor, a comforter with dried blood stains & various holes, a door latch missing, and soap scum under the wrapped up soap in the shower. After being moved to the second room the bathroom was cleaner but the comforter still had dried blood stains and holes, which the staff noted is common in their rooms. The hotel staff eventually gave us a brand new comforter and towel sets which was appreciated, even though he was resistant to offer that option. The shower was very dark so I showered with the curtain open to let light into the area. The lightening in the room and bathroom need to be updated. The company needs to invest in their facility.
