우선 숙소가 너무 깔끔하고 주인장 리온이 친절해서 기분 좋게 숙소에 머물수 있었어요!

화장실 환기 부분이 조금 아쉬웠어요

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeberfamilie. Konnten direkt in der Unterkunft einen Roller für 70k pro Tag mieten. Der Verkehr vor der Haustür ist meistens ganz angenehm zum Rollerfahren. Zu manchen Zeiten aber auch sehr hektisch. Außerdem wurden wir bei der Abreise von der Familie für einen guten Preis weiter gefahren (Taxi). Wäscheservice direkt um die Ecke. Viele Möglichkeiten zum Essen in der Umgebung. Eine Massage wird ebenfalls von der Familie angeboten. Es ist sehr sauber und komfortabel. Allerdings ist die Tür nicht Schalldicht und man hört die Geräusche von draußen sehr laut. Bei unserem Aufenthalt befanden sich Wildkatzen auf dem Grundstück, welche teilweise sehr lange nachts sehr laute Geräusche von sich gegeben haben. Dafür kann die Gastgeberfamilie aber natürlich nichts. Den Straßenverkehr hörte man in unserem Zimmer überhaupt nicht. Wir hatten aber auch ein Zimmer ganz hinten. Der Hund bellt immer, wenn man ankommt. Die Familie kommt aber sofort zur Hilfe und versucht ihn zu beruhigen. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Bei unserem Aufenthalt explizit die Wildkatzen, welche nachts teilweise sehr laut waren. Dafür kann die Familie aber nichts, weshalb wir dafür auch keinen Punktabzug geben.

Staying here was one of the most special experiences of our trip to Ubud. From the very beginning we were welcomed not as guests, but as part of the family. Lionk, the owner, was always available and full of helpful tips, making everything so easy and enjoyable. We loved cooking and eating with the family, and his aunt’s massage place right next door offers the best massages, the perfect way to unwind after exploring. Taking part in the daily blessing ceremony was another highlight, such an intimate and authentic experience that gave us a true glimpse into Balinese life. The location is ideal, just a short 10-minute taxi ride or a 20-minute walk to Ubud center, close enough to the action but peaceful enough to relax. What made this place truly unforgettable, though, was the warmth and kindness of the family. They didn’t just host us; they cared for us as if we belonged. By the time we left, it felt like saying goodbye to family. If you’re looking for a stay in Ubud that’s authentic, welcoming, and full of heart, I can’t recommend this place enough.

Fantastic place! You will experience an authentic local experience by sharing the space with a lovely balinese family: Lionk, his wife Lia and their 2 beautiful sons, plus his dad and grandfather (amazing painter!) are the perfect hosts. The room is big, clean and comfortable and every room has a small porch in which you can enjoy a coffee or tea gently provided by them. A big plus of the space is also a massage parlor and an art gallery, with stunning paintings made by the family members that you can also purchase. If I will go back to Ubud I'll definitely go there again: highly recommended!

The only con was the annoying noise made by a rooster in the middle of the night really close to my room, coming from the guesthouse next to it: this is not the owner's fault, but it's something that should be solved in order to guarantee a good sleep for the guests.

The room and the bathroom were super clean, the shower pressure was good and the water gets hot fast. The hosts are super helpful and very welcoming. The aircon worked well and there was even a fan for those who prefer. The monkey forest is nearby and the center is close to get to by motorbike or by Grab. Overall, we had a pretty good stay for really good value for money. We would definitely come back again if we had to visit Ubud.

Incredibly comfortable room with the softest bed and blankets, I slept so well. I loved the location in the city and enjoyed many restaurants nearby. The family here is welcoming and treated me like a part of their home, sharing delicious fruit with me and making me tea and coffee. I felt so grateful for their help carrying my bags and waiting with me for my transport out of Ubud. This place is fantastic and I will definitely come back here. Thank you for your kindness and help! And a bonus: they have very cute pets, I love their dog and baby chicken :)

Peaceful compound near more artistic areas and not touristy but close to shops and cafes and close enough to centre. Perfect WiFi, fan, strong hot water, good ac, nice personal terrace and closet space. Run by a family of artists and a a massage therapist in a temple atmosphere. Modern and clean inside room. Coffee shop across the street and cheap and fast laundry beside. About a 30 minute walk to the yoga barn. Spacious room.
