Lionk Bali House

Very peaceful and quaint, while still being in a good location. You’ll be living amongst the kindest Balinese families. Lionk and his family are also very warm and welcoming. I felt like I had a home away from home right away. My friend & I stayed here for over a week and will likely default to staying here when I go back to Ubud.

Location is ideal if you want to visit Ubud because it is central, yet the room is very quiet. The bathroom is also big considering the average homestays. The green in front of the room is very relaxing. Lionk's family is very welcoming with smiles all day!

Amazing hosts who are so helpful and attentive! They helped us plan a day trip at an amazing price and arranged a driver for us even at short notice. The room was large, comfortable and full of beautiful artwork too. The facilities are clean, and the shower is very hot and powerful which is great. Very short walk to get to centre of Ubud and Sacred Monkey Forest so the location is ideal to get around on foot. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

How can we rate this stay with less than the maximum when at our arrival the first words that Lionk said to us were “you are going to be part of my family, so please feel welcome”? He kept his word, being an exceptional host that was always happy to join us for a smoke while giving us the best advices regarding places to visit and ways to moving around. We were humbled by his efforts to make his home a place ready to welcome people from every part of the world: he is renovating the place and has big plans that involve all his family and connections. His father is the best driver in Ubud and was more than happy to bring us around for the best price! They also invited us to the best night we had in Indonesia so far: his daughter’a birthday, a celebration full of love, music and genuine laughter! We’ll definitely come back to visit this amazing family! 💙💙

It is an incredible experience to be able to live in the midst of a Hindu family. It was a great pleasure to meet you. As it is a homestay, one cannot and does not want to expect the quality of a luxury hotel but rather get in touch with other people and cultures - which you can definitely do here. You immediately feel like a member of the family
