Selfcatering Coach House New Forest Dog Friendly

It was perfectly located for getting around. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Karen was lovely and very helpful.

We didn’t realise that the only bathroom/toilet was downstairs. We are at an age where our bladders get us up several times a night and our joints scream when going up and down stairs, especially after lying down. Personally I restricted my evening drinks (of water) to compensate which brought its own problems.

The property was so beautiful clean very well equipped, comfortable Karen goes above and beyond to provide everything you need, fans in the heat down to doggy treats and biccies and milk upon arrival. Honestly just perfect, a great location too easy to find, friendly family orientated hosts Karen more than helpful when it comes to recommendations in the area and so welcoming goes above and beyond will definitely return x

The property is quaint and cosy - perfect for our family of three and small spaniel. It was immaculately clean which was very important to me as both myself and my son are very sensitive to things like dust. The property itself was extremely well equipped including thoughtful additions for dogs, biscuits, even a nightlight (which proved very handy when we forgot to pack ours for our four year old!) The hosts were warm and friendly and so much thought has been placed into making this a beautiful, tranquil little getaway. Everything from the considered decor, stunning artwork to beautiful fresh reed diffusers. The beds were comfortable and the use of space very smart considering the layout of the property. Whilst it is cosy it by no means ever felt cramped. The shower was excellent and fresh towels provided for guests and doggies! Sometimes you see properties that say dogs allowed and they’re more so tolerated. However, here they’re genuinely adored and welcomed with a space outside exclusively for the dogs to do their business, designated bins. Location wise the property is perfect! We made full use of the extremely detailed guestbook (do take a read of this!) in finding a beautiful pub for dinner and long dog walks nearby. I genuinely do not have a single thing to add by way of improvement. I saw other reviewers note that the ceiling height variables were an issue but my 6ft husband was absolutely fine. Similarly the no WiFi was exactly why we picked it. We wanted a secluded weekend away to reset with our family. The break was spent exploring, in conversation, reading books and playing games. If this is what you love in a peaceful backdrop away from it all - this will absolutely be for you.

The hosts were really friendly and helpful, the coach house was spotless , really nice and the hosts left thoughtful things coffee, tea, milk biscuits , dog biscuits, lots of bits and pieces under sink if you forgot soap etc, can’t fault it

Was a bit worried about stairs with dogs our one dog was afraid of the slats but otherwise the whole place was lovely no complaints

Was lovely to come in to see basics like milk already in the fridge when we arrived. It really made a difference to be able to settle straight in properly when we arrived.

The shower/ toilet area isn't very spacious and a very large person might have a problem using it . The small size wasn't a problem to us and the actual shower area was very good.
