Ella nature nest

Was such a nice little nest, is a bit of track, but if you manage to find the stairs that goes down a budist temple they end up in the train track, from there is a short walk, took me a few tries to find the right one

Lovely family owned property. Very basic but has everything you need. Hot showers, comfortable bed, nice views through the trees, not too far to walk into town.

Choose Ella Nature Nest for your stay in Ella!!! The view, nature, close to the city, SUCH a nice couple who run the place! Nirasha taught us how to cook Sri Lankan food, she offered tea and everything we needed. The most authentic, coziest place to stay in all of Ella. Trust me! Ella city is just a 15 minute walk away along the train tracks (with a stunning view). Ella is a small city so whenever you go a little away from the main city, the internet connection is quite bad. (Better in the morning) that means that both the WiFi connection and our cell phone connection was not the best. We found no problem at all in this, and it actually made the stay that more peaceful to get away from our phones and enjoy the nature even more! If I ever come back to Ella, I will stay here!!

Nothing, it was perfect!!

Lovely attentive host. The house is in a stunning natural forest location above the town. We enjoyed our stay here and the rooms were nice and clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was superb.

There is a set of steep steps of about 10 metres to get down to the house, so maybe not ideal if you have extra large bags or any disabilities.

We loved this homestay the rooms were a good size comfy beds and nice bathrooms. There was plenty of hot water and a lovely balcony. Fab views and great location. A short walk down to the railway tracks then 10mins into Ella. Some really good restaurants just 10mins the other way. We had a v friendly welcome and a lovely breakfast. A great base for exploring Ella at a really reasonable price.

True to its name it’s a real nature nest with a gorgeous view to Ella, a temple right next to it and located within a 7min walk to the Ella centre via the train rails. The room was cozy and impeccably clean. A real gem for the value.

There is no privacy as we could clearly hear the next door’s conversations and movements
