Couldn't use the garden which was overgrown. Hard to see which bit belongs to who in garden,no chairs to sit on outside .Floorboards very creaky.Felt too empty,not enough furnishings. Kitchen cupboard doors and table need sorting, as they have marks and peeling paint.Noisy neighbours downstairs which also emit a certain smell.Mould on the bathroom ceiling. Property needs some attention to bring it upto the standard stated.
GBIt was comfy, a good location for days out. Park and ride near by. Deaston distillery has an excellent cafe which is a few minutes walk away. Beds very comfortable large bedrooms with good storage. Good facilities in the kitchen, lounge a good side.

Kitchen could do with a few more essential kitchen tools and knives sharpening.
GBReally cosy place. Stayed here with a friend as part of a road trip around Scotland and it was our favourite stay. The living area was perfect for hanging out in. It featured a wood burner which was very nice, especially with a whisky in hand. The beds were comfy, bathroom clean and kitchen was well equipped. Finally, parking was plentiful outside. I'd recommend visitors book a distillery tour at Deanston if this is of interest as it is a short walk away.
There are few local amenities within walking distance. There was a local bus but we relied on our car.
DEEin wunderschön renoviertes Cottage, unweit von Doune Castle. Sehr geschmackvoll im "industrial style" eingerichtet, top ausgestattete Küche, schönes neues Bad, ein Kamin, der bestens funktioniert hat. Wir waren rundum begeistert - und eine Mini-Flasche Deanston-Whisky (die Destillerie ist gleich ums Eck!) gab es zur Begrüßung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder - danke an Ben und Olli!
AUPicturesque little unit, river out the back, pleasant walkable area. Bus easily into Stirling at end of road.
