Lovely property and great hosts

Our stay at Serenity lodge was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property was easy to find, and check-in was seamless thanks to clear instructions from the host. We were warmly welcomed by a clean and beautifully maintained space that looked even better than the photos. The accommodation itself was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. One of the highlights was the outdoor space – we spent mornings sipping coffee on the patio and evenings in the hot tub enjoying the views. Our host was excellent – responsive and friendly. It was clear that they put a lot of thought into all the finer details.

You can see why it's called Serenity Lodge. So peaceful, enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the lake with some lovely sunsets. Chalet was nice and clean and had all you need.

What a little gem this is! We have stayed at Tallington Lakes a number of times and love it. We have previously stayed elsewhere but wanted to try a new place. We came across Serenity and thought we would give it a go. The owners are lovely so friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, the lodge itself is just beautiful. It was like a home from home, so comfortable, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for our 3 day break away. The hot tub and lake view was an added bonus and added to an already beautiful place. We didn’t want to come home. Thank you for having us Serenity and we cannot wait to come back. Xxx

The caravan was very homely, clean and in a perfect location for us. The hosts were contactable and very friendly.

CCTV watching us come and go felt a bit weird and post-it notes everywhere of what not to do. Funny at times and understand the reasonings for them, but a bit overkill

Warm welcome on arrival, fantastic location, comfortable and well equipped, very dog friendly, secluded outside area with amazing views over the water. Looking forward to coming again!

Warm welcome from the owner who clearly takes great pride in the cleanliness and upkeep of her property. The location on the edge of the lake provided a beautiful back drop to our weekend. There were a wide variety of water sports and land activities available on site. The bar and restaurant provided reasonably priced and quality food.

Unclear instructions on where to put the different types of rubbish (recycle, food, general waste) at end of weekend

Everything was perfect for a quiet R&R getaway with a friend. The lodge has everything you could possibly need, it's very well thought of, clean and very comfortable. Plenty of room to cosy in on the sofas in the evening (if you can get yourself away from the hot tub). The hosts were really friendly, welcoming and lovely, they met us at the lodge and showed us around. The lodge is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub amazing. Definitely worth booking! The only thing you'll miss is a longer stay, we did not want to leave. As an added bonus there were a couple of bats swooping about the lake in the evening.

Place for bbq by the lodge could be nice, but the fully equipped kitchen is more than enough and we quickly forgot we even wanted to bbq.
