"A little dated but impeccably clean, quiet, peaceful and in a handy location for the hospital."

Very handy location if staying in King's Lynn due to work at the hospital. Quiet and peaceful area. Easy parking onsite. Lovely to have actual fresh milk and a generous selection of hot drink options, snacks and water in the room.

As a busy introvert trying to catch up on a mountain of work emails and as someone who doesn't like being social first thing in the morning, I felt frustrated when my wish to not engage in chit-chat was not heeded by one of the hosts.

What wonderful hosts! Jane went out of her way to make dinner for us and our son, whom wasn’t even staying there, she is a lovely and warm lady who made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner which was lovingly prepared and cooked and she was up again very early in the morning to make breakfast, which was a full English and pancakes along with delicious fresh fruit which was made for our son who is living and working nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel is extremely clean and fascinating throughout! Thoroughly recommend staying here!! Enjoyed our chats with Taz also. Thank you 🙏

"Very pleasant and welcoming"

Breakfast very good, and very friendly host.

Not easy to get to the top floor for an 80 year old, though staff were very helpful carrying luggage up and down the stairs.

"Tired but friendly"

The owner was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble including the enormous breakfast.

The pictures online aren’t true (both the grounds and interior) - the hotel is clean enough but very ‘tired’ especially the bathroom facilities which is not reflected in the price.
