"Great stay, wonderful view of the Douro River in a calming area"

The property has a great backyard and the view is phenomenal. The host was very responsive and super attentive.

The parking situation is not ideal because it's hard to get through the road and the parking spot is very narrow. But it's totally understandable and not uncommon in Europe to have narrow roads.

Amazing location, beautiful views. Facilities were modern and super clean. Lovely fluffy towels, hot water. Beautiful fireplace with generous supply of firewood. Great tv, comfy sofa, comfy bed and pillows. Hot air units in the bedrooms which meant we could be toasty warm. Very friendly host who was happy to help us.

Tricky to get the car out of the carpark! But worth it due to the stunning views. We visited in winter and the bathroom was pretty chilly due to no heating (downstairs only heated by fireplace), and damp due to no ventilation, difficult to dry towels.
