NZThe location was ideal, with easy access to the CBD and other places we visited. It was incredibly quiet and restful with the ocean view.
NZThe flat was spacious and comfortable for a family of four. The flat is well equipped with everything you need. Stunning view.... Exceptional service from the host Mary. Lovely breakfast cereals also provided.
NZNZThe view over the ocean was great and the host was friendly and checked if there was anything we needed. As we had two adult children travelling with us, we needed bedding to use the sofa bed. Also we asked for a Pyrex bowl to cook porridge and this was promptly brought to us. The apartment was very well equipped, including a gas heater in the lounge area, electric heater in the master bedroom and a dehumidifier in the second bedroom. The large TV screen around 65 inches was great. We generally drove into New Plymouth's town centre which was about 3 to 5 kilometers drive. Other parks and gardens are within 3 to 6 kms drive.
The host warned us that the right of way access required us to drive into their guest parking space carefully. That said, the high location of the house in this suburb provided great views across the city and ocean, so it was worth the effort. You can get some extra exercise if you walk to the nearby Westown shopping centre, with a few eateries, about 400 metres. Then the walk back up the driveway is a short 20 metre work-out.
NZGreat location and views. Breakfast cereals available along with milk. Bottles of water in the fridge as well. Two very spacious bedrooms with queen size beds. Great shower. Well equipped kitchen, small but definitely functional! Very comfortable stay. Mary was a wonderful host, she came and saw us on arrival and communication with her before arriving was great.

We found the beds to be uncomfortable. Warm and cosy but uncomfortable.
