New Malaya Hotel

Ants is everywhere inside the room—on the floor until bed got ants. My room smells cigarette (very strong one) like someone just smoke inside my room and the toilet also wet. Note that we checked in very late (passed midnight) hence we thought someone entered the room just before we checked in. Very bad

Honestly, this was the worst trip ever. Imagine getting your hotel canceled just ONE hour before check-in, on a public holiday, because of so-called “maintenance.” What a joke. They only gave me two options: downgrade to Panchor 6 Hostel or take a refund. By that time, of course, all other hotels were fully booked. So, I had no choice but to accept the hostel. And wow… the “room.” The aircond smelled disgusting, the towels were cheap and tiny, the bathroom was shared (and clogged), and the mattress plus pillows stank. Totally unacceptable and embarrassing for a place that dares to call itself a hotel.
