Daylily Cottage - Two Bedroom Georgian Cottage in Central Bath

Outstanding presentation throughout. Attention to detail was excellent, including fresh milk in the fridge. Location could not have been more convenient for both access to the centre of town and parking.

Was beautifully presented with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

It is a beautifully refurbished and very charming cottage set over three levels. All the lovely little touches are there. Tea bags and milk to get us started. Hairdryers and hair straighteners - we are girls!!!

Interior design, very high standard of finishing and furnishings. All required kitchen equipment.

My daughter, (13yrs old) and I loved the decor and how cosy the cottage was! Beautiful colours and attention to detail, complimentary tea pigs/coffee, biscuits and milk! House was warm and inviting on arrival and great shower pressure. I forgot my straighteners and delighted to find host has a set for guests to use! The noise didn’t bother us..as once asleep …next thing that woke me up was my alarm and not the traffic. Charlotte street parking nearby and convenient to use. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Nicely furnished and very comfortable. It has a friendly owner and is a good price.

The road was a little noisy but there's a temporary one way system in place so don't imagine this is a permanent issue.

Our dog might have urinated on the front mat which I scrubbed but couldn't dry it. They said the cleaners scrubbed it but it still smelled and left a stain on a yellow straw mat. It didn't smell the same morning and have charged us £48 to replace a little mat! They then said the cleaners found urine in the first floor bedroom and blamed the dog even though he never entered that room and only stayed on the ground floor and only went to the lower floor when escorted as he was afraid of the stairs after he fell down them. If I ever book accommodation in Bath and find the Roost is managing it I will swiftly cancel it! Roost please don't try to justify your actions as it doesn't wash!
