Lake View Lodges The Kentwell

Well-made wooden lodges with excellent showers and good cooking facilities (sharp knives). The Witch's hut barbecue was a huge hit with the children. The host, Mark, took time to make sure we were settled in and ready. There is lots of space for play, a croquet set, football field and some bikes for loan.

Almost nothing, other than a hard patch down the centre of the sofa bed!

Beautiful location. Friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent lodges, well equipped and very clean. Lots to do in the area.

Another great stay at Lake view lodges. Our 2nd time here. We stayed in the Kentwell. The lodge was cosy and warm and had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable. The little kitchen is lovely and has a great oven. We loved toasting our marshmallows in the pretty barbecue house. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great setting, lake was good for a paddle, close to Long Melford... Very peaceful. Hosts were really welcoming, and thanks so much for your thoughts Stacy and Mark!

Wasn't clear in booking that there are two buildings, we were expecting an exclusive use of the area in the pictures ... Having said that, our neighbours were perfect and we felt comfortable.

Very well made lodge. Artistic and well appointed.

Main bed a little too soft.
