Ocean Haze Hotel

Location, friendliness of staff, the size of the room, the sea view.

Mattresses were quite soft and beds quite squeaky.

View from the balcony, but correct room was given only long negotiation .

Room was dirty, spider-nets were everywhere, carpets in all premises were so dirty and smelly.

Fabulous views from our room with balcony which could be accessed from a door leading out from our room. I understand the reason for the cost being the wonderful view which not all rooms have. Everything was in the room which we required including tea coffee and kettle. Over the bath shower was lovely and hot. Blow heater provided to supplement the central heating radiator. Host were very friendly and we booked for the buffet meal that evening which was very reasonable for the variety and quality of the dishes provided. Thank you for a wonderful meal where we were able to try Sri Lanka dishes we would never have ordered which were all delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced as well.

Mattress was too soft for our liking but we slept well despite this. Investing in a new kettle would be even better.

Nothing in walking distance. No sign of staff. Walls very thin. Room very poky. Wardrobe but not coat hangers.

Good value, comfortable, exactly what you’d expect from one of the more budget options in the city

The Ocean Haze Hotel wasn't fair with the breakfast it said 9:99 for breakfast so you had to tick what you wanted on the menu i asked for sausage bacon egg mushrooms and beans and it came to 18:99 that was without my wife's we questioned that and the bloke on reception said every item was individually priced differently so we declined breakfast the guy on reception his English was very poor and he had a job understanding us we wouldn't go there again

View from the window was great with a Skylark singing in the field.

Bed was a bit hard.
