Peaceful little gem away from the busy centre and mosque. I stayed at a hostel first but decided I preferred a more tranquil place so I came here and didn't regret it. Antonio and Marina demonstrate that Italian hospitality even trumps that of the Balinese. He is very attentive and wonderful to talk to. The rooms are spacious and cleaned twice a day.

A minor thing since the beach is walking distance, but the pool would be more inviting if it had a bit more decoration :) Like some plants or ornaments surrounding it to cover the wall.

If you want to feel like you're in paradise, book accommodation at SODA RESORT. Really great over the top. Absolutely exceptional attitude of the staff and the owner, who is a complete gentleman who will put a smile on your face every time you meet. We extended our stay twice because we simply didn't want to leave paradise. 1) Arrival -you will receive an excellent welcome drink with wet towels, which will really come in handy, the gentleman Mr. Antonio and his wife Marina will welcome you with a smile and this will start your wonderful stay. You will get really useful advice and tips. For example, thanks to Mr. Antonio's recommendation, we saw the turtles for free. Poslali jste 2) Room - the room is perfectly clean and every day you get new towels and cleaning. There is a balcony with an ashtray, air conditioning, television with netflix, etc. The shower has three possible streams. You will get toothbrushes and paste as well as really fragrant shampoo and shower gel, in other accommodations you can tell that it is a cheap drugstore, but here it is really high-quality products. 3) Location - it is a very good location, very quiet, a few minutes by bike from the beach or many restaurants and shops. The area is safe and there is nothing to fear even at night. Close enough to the center of the island and far enough to be peaceful. Poslali jste 4) Breakfast For breakfast you can have an omelette, toast with butter and jam, fresh and delicious fruit, fresh water, coffee, in short, what you need for a pleasant awakening and even if for some reason you don't sleep well, a great breakfast with a dose of smile from the owners and employees will perfectly recharge you with energy and positive mood. 5) Other there is also a fridge with drinks, including beer, at the entrance, so if you feel thirsty at any time of the day (24/7) you can buy a drink and not have to drive all the way to the store.

The owners, Antonio and Marina, and the staff, Huda and Tan, are just the loveliest people! We felt like our stay was closer to visiting old friends - though this is the first time we stayed at this hotel or met these great folks - but with more privacy. The room was cleaned every morning and turned down every evening. Separate towels were provided for the pool and beach and changed as well. They even insisted on providing clean towels when washing the beach sand from our feet outside. The pool was great, and unlike many hotels with specified pool hours, we could access the pool 24/7 except during brief cleaning periods. We had many interesting and wonderful conversations with everyone throughout our stay. I had also gotten a little ill while traveling from a previous location. They very kind and offered assistance. Luckily, it was not serious, but their concern was touching. This was a really tranquil place to rest and recover.

It is does take a little walk to get to and from the east side of the island where the main street is. If you are comfortable riding a bike, then renting one would make this negligible. However, it is extremely close and convenient to see some pretty spectacular sunsets with Bali’s volcano in the distance! Another great thing about this location is that it is quiet. We were not woken by the call to prayer from the mosque, roosters, restaurants, street noise, etc. It truly is a nice place to relax. We were sad to leave our new friends we made at this hotel!

Everything perfect

What a wonderful place to stay! We haven’t finished our stay and already would like to leave a review as, it truly does feel like home. Antonio & his wife, sons and staff will do absolutely anything to make your stay comfortable in true Italian style! Facilities are all brand new and super clean. The rooms are modern, spacious and fitted with all amenities you need including great air con, smart TV, balcony and a super comfy bed. The swimming pool and lounge area where you are served a nice breakfast hit the spot after exploring such a beautiful, but sometimes busy island! Thanks for all of your efforts!

Me and my partner loved everything about this place. Antonio and his family are the most friendly and helpful hosts I have ever met. The rooms are cleaned everyday. The breakfast is so nice and healthy. It's a 5 minute walk from the beach. This place is perfect. I will definitely becoming back.

This is the best hotel we have been in so far. Antonio, the host, is a lovely italian man who lives there with his family and welcomed us. He made us feel like home. The staff was delightful. Everything was super clean, and breakfast was delicious. In addition price is super cheap for the facilities the hotel has. Whenever I come back to Gili, I won't hesitate to repeat with Antonio.
