"Lovely spacious cottage . Would stay again in the warmer months and take our quilts with us . Blankets are not suitable"

7.0

It was a lovely spacious cottage with a farmhouse feel .

The high winds were making something on the guttering / roof bang all night so not a lot of sleep. The beds were quite hard we prefer a soft to medium feel . ( personal preference) heating was on a timer and the cottage became cold during the daytime and during the night . The heating came on at 6am for a few hours and then again in the evening for a few hours , I did call the owner and the gentleman came and changed the timer during the daytime for us which we appreciated, but not during the night unfortunately and the beds had blankets which was very oldie woldie for this day and age so was quite chilly through the night . That being said we would love to stay again maybe prefer in the warmer summer months.

Absolutely stunning property. Spacious, tasteful and quality interior with everything you could need. Two en suites offer privacy and convenience for shared stays. Idylic location and views. Easy access to all locations on the island. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be looking for availability later in the year.

Kitchen tap a little difficult to operate but this really is a very, very minor point re an absolutely outstanding rental.

"We would have no hesitation in returning to Ty Gwair"

10.0

The privacy, tranquility, easy access to anything we wished to see, parking a bonus, felt safe, nearby shop, garage, pub, take-away. (Nearby pubs didn’t cater for coeliacs, The Bull thought vegetarian and vegan would suffice!!!) We enjoyed the cockerel’s morning visit.

There was nothing we didn’t like but found the washbasin a little small. Getting to grips with the kitchen tap caused great merriment!
