Alec and Lizzie are a joy! So very welcoming! Awesome home with eclectic vibes. I stayed 12 nights. Dedicated living area with TV and music. Full access to kitchen. Breakfast provided. Very tasty with delicious coffee. Very much a "our house is your house" feeling. Bed has brand new comfy mattress. Room comfy and most adequate. Rate was very fair! Bathroom extremely clean with excellent bath and shower. Wifi excellent! I had zero issues with my stay and recommend 1000%. I will certainly return !

Alec and Lizzie were great hosts, very friendly and hospitable! Room was very cozy. Their home was very welcoming. They make great breakfast too. We had an enjoyable stay here. Very convenient and safe location to Saguaro National Park East.

The room and house were fantastic. Also the hosts are very nice and warm people. I never write reviews, but this deserves a recommendation! I will surely return here

We had a lovely stay at Casa de Basswood. Lizzie and Alec welcomed us very warmly to her home and were very helpful. They made us feel comfortable in their house and lovely room during our stay. Lizzy prepared an early but very good breakfast in the morning. We really liked the close location to east Saguaro National Park. We would recommend Casa de Basswood 100%

I booked before reading the tiny print of having to be vaccinated against Covid (I never ran across this before when booking a B&B) I noticed immediately and tried to cancel within one hour. Their reply came several hours later (around 4 hours) and because of the urgency of finding another room I had already booked an alternative. In all fairness when they did respond they told me they would let my guest stay unvaccinated since they had no other guests (a fact that I couldn't have read their mind about and feel it was a convenient way to keep my money.) Since I didn't know they would make an exception I had already booked another room. I lost $180.00. I think in this case if they had returned any part of the cost I would have been happy. A person's action tells you what kind of B7B you will be dealing with. Read all the fine print and don't expect any consideration or refund!

We had a lovely stay at Casa de Basswood. Lizzie welcomed us very warmly to her home. She prepared an excellent breakfast in the morning. The shower was also spectacular. The house is about a 20 minute drive from central Tuscon and very close to east Saguaro National Park. Would recommend.

Great experience. It was great to stay in the guest room at Lizzie's -- like how "airbnb" was 10 years ago. A wonderful host.
