Mi Casa Homestay

Honestly the place was even better than we expected. The host Nicki was so kind and helpful. She made delicious breakfast every morning and had really great reccommendation for things to do since we were there for 5 days. Public transit is less than 250 meters away so it was not so hard even though we didn't have a car. Also everything was super clean and cozy, and the views of the sea were gorgeous. The small village is walking distance and has delcious restaurants as well.

The host unfortunately had a family matter few days before I arrived, so under the circumstances he tried his very best to arrange a good solution (first checking with a friend's place, if they have space and then arranging for somebody to give me the key and also offer a solution for the breakfast, that couldn't be prepared in person of course). I also got an upgrade after the boiler didn't seem to work in the initially booked room. The dehumidifier took good care to prevent any mold, but would probably have been too noisy to let it run while sleeping.

Sadly the room upgrade also came with a 'downgrade' of the view, as the building next door was blocking part of the view, that I would have had in the intial booking :( Some of the ant trails were a bit too close to the bed for my taste, but as long as you don't have any food laying around, they let you in peace.

The apartment was clean, the rooms were big with a great sea view!

The host was extremely helpful to us as new travelers to the area. The accommodation was spacious and clean. We liked being outside the bustle of Juifen but very close by in a quiet area.

Very comfortable, spacious and clean space, with Western vibe. The host is super friendly and provided us with delicious vegetarian breakfast. We also got some recommendations regarding area to explore.

The place is in a remote area with a wonderful view on the sea, it is perfect if you want to be in a calm place and travel around the region. It was very clean and the host is fantastic, very kind and helpful, she gave us a lot of tips for our trip in Taiwan.
