THERE IS NOTHING I LIKED

When we arrived, the main door was closed and we had to wait for someone else to enter the building to get in. Flat is on first floor, no lift. Once we put the code in the lock, the flat was messy and someone had clearly been staying there. Their clothes were everywhere, luggage opened, rubbish in the kitchen. As an instinct, we left and went downstairs at the entrance. The owner said it wasn't possible, the cleaning lady must have been there. Spoiler, she was not and either a guest overstayed or someone was squatting! She arrived an hour later (we had been waiting outside) and we went upstairs together. I sent pictures to the owner of the state of the flat. I then also notice that the shower was broken and the ceiling was completely leaking in the bathroom, humitidy like a steam room. I messaged the owner saying we couldn't possibly stay there and he agreed by message on a refund. He never accepted my refund request and he still got the money while we had to find an alternative accomodation. Booking wasn't good liaising either, they gave us 15% credit coupon though after replying to each of my messages after 4 days...

The location is great ,close to everything. Very secured. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The flat was incredibly equipped and clean. Will go back for sure

Excellent location next to Hassan Tower. Very spacious and tidy. Self check-in to access apartment.

Unfortunately there were grains of sand on my bedsheets and the main bathroom smelt like sewerage. Self check-in process was complicated by the fact that the front door to the building was locked - we had to call the host although happily this was resolved easily. Also, we didn’t know about the tourist tax! We had to PayPal transfer afterwards.

Apartment was clean, spacious and in a handy location if you want to stay outside of the medina.

We understood the apartment had parking. I'm not sure if this was our mistake as I notice the entry on booking.com now says there's no parking. However I messaged the property well in advance and asked if we could park in the car park if we arrived early and was told this was no problem. When we arrived at the property there was no parking and street parking was completely full. When i rang up I was told the carpark was taken and we should park in the street. We also couldn't get into the apartment as the instructions were sent to me only 2 hours before we were due to arrive on Whatsapp and I couldn't use mobile data in Morocco. I checked that morning and there was no message so thought there would be someone at the property. Other places have messaged instructions at least 24 hours beforehand. It ended up taking us 1 hour after we arrived to find parking and get into the apartment which was frustrating as we didn't have much time in Rabat. There was also no information in the property about how things worked. This would have been useful as the shower is very unusual (good but we couldn't turn it on without instructions). We also weren't sure whether we had to take rubbish out etc. I messaged the contact and got quick responses so it was OK but a basic info sheet would have been useful.
