The Lotus Villa Sigiriya

Clean, spacious room in good location. Only few min walk to the main street with all the nice bars and restaurants. And a very friendly and attentive host that helped us out with our planning in Sigiriya and made sure we had everything to have the most pleasant stay.

I had an amazing stay at Lotus Villa. The manager of the place was extremely kind and helpful. He was very attentive to the detail and made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was very generous and super tasty. The location is great just few minutes walk to the center of the village and the Lion Rock. There are rice fields around the property and peacocks. The room was very clean and had a fridge and a kettle which I really appreciate. Very good value for the price.

The villa was so close to Sigiriya rock and lots of bars and restaurants. The room was very clean and a great size. Good breakfast of egg hoppers, fruit and tea or coffee. Super friendly staff who helped with all our needs.

If it’s raining the entrance can get very muddy but you are in the jungle area so can’t be helped

Weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll. Nichts hat gestimmt…von der Sauberkeit der Zimmer bis hin zum angebotenen Frühstück war alles nur schrecklich und unhygienisch. Zimmer total stickig mit extremem Schimmelgeruch. An den Wänden nicht bahandelte, übermalte Schimmelflecken. Hatte schreckliche Probleme dort zu atmen. Duschkabine hatte nicht einmal eine Trennkabine oder eine Lüftung!!!! Das Bad stand also nach dem Duschen unter Wasser und die Feuchtigkeit hat sich dort über die Jahre somit angesammelt. Fenster konnte man nicht öffnen, da kein Netz an den Fenstern angebracht war. Bettfedern haben sooo wehgetan, hatten tagelang nach dem Aufenthalt Rückenschmerzen. Meiner Meinung nach darf diese Unterkunft keinen Reisenden angeboten werden, auch wenn der Gastgeber freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Dies ist einfach

De locatie was geweldig tussen de rijst velden. Het personeel was super behulpzaam en stond altijd voor ons klaar. Lekker ontbijt en de kamer was top. Zeker een aanrader!
