De zelf check in ( de eigenaar vertelde ons dat we het verkeerde kastje moesten gebruiken ..) de kastjes en badkamer vallen bijna uit elkaar , plus de extra kussens waren compleet geel !

Incredible location! 1 minute to sea and Nickie street, 1 minute to bus station for the beaches, couple of minutes to White tower, Aristotel square, Historical locations, Timicki and Egnacia street. Definitely coming again

If you have a quick trip to Thessaloniki and need a very central location to stay, this will not disappoint. Flat was clean and the aircon was on already, with a nice mild temperature waiting for us. The flat is literally a small studio room, meaning one room that has the bed, a vanity with two chairs, a kitchenette and the bathroom. No lobby or other spaces. We had one pillow each and needed more; found two in the closet but no clean pillowcases/bedding so not good to use. No place to open your luggage, luckily had backpacks only as it was an one night stay. Also we decided to leave most of our stuff in the rental car, as we did not want to carry them up the stairs. If you have a car, there are two private parking businesses garages ,nearby; one opposite the flat and the other around the corner. We did not know this and by the time we knew of the location we had paid for a 24h location in a further place, 10min away. These types of business are quite common in big cities like Athens or Thessaloniki, offering short or long term parking solutions.

There are a few things contributing to my overall rating. 1. Most and foremost is the room we were given is not the same advertised. I took pictures of our actual accommodation, which was smaller, without any sofa, different colour palette etc. Less nice than the one advertised. Kitchenette area not really useful, afew random items and the cupboards quite high to reach (and I am 165cm tall). 2. The flats are managed by a managing company, who demanded ID checks frequently. Keep in mind I get it if you need to follow local laws and you need a pre checkin form etc. But then imagine being outside the flat, in almost 40°C exhausted at 4pm, ( checkin time is 3pm ), still not having information on how to obtain the key , calling them and they confirmed they didn't send the email, they apologize saying they'll send it.. ok...then waiting...waiting...when messaging again via booking they asked to "confirm our ID/passports"!!! Why????? Been already pass this point having done all checks and verifications, we're waiting in the heat outside and now it's almost 4:30pm, an hour and a half into our booking , last confirmed already the booking reference just minutes ago when called,, why are you still asking for identification?? This is totally unnecessary at this point. Luckily, someone sent us the details for the key via email, not via Booking.com and we obtain finally the key. 3. Accessibility. So, if you're a wheelchair user or you have mobility issues and you need to avoid stairs, this is not a booking you wish to make. The building has 13 steps to get into the lift, which by the way is a small one, fitting up to 2 actual people, max 225kg. If you have a buggy or lange luggage this is also something to consider. Not saying that this is something that the management company can influence, but is crucial to know if for any reason you're looking on Accessible accommodation. 4.
