Amazing views from the balcony overlooking the sea and towards the city in the far shoreline. Wonderful light inside the house which was spacious, nicely decorated and had a very calm atmosphere. Very welcoming hosts who were happy to help with advice, on pretty island with no cars

Everything was great, no complaints

Beautifully and sympathetically rennovated apartment - lovely stoop to eat at outside and watch both the sun rise and sunset. Comfortably furnished and fully equipped kitchen.

Spacious apartment with a nice view from the outdoor table. The host met us with the key and was available to help with any issues throughout our stay.

The apartment is a the top of a very steep hill about 20 minutes walk (with children) from the ferry. This is not unusual for the island but as first time foreign visitors it was a bit of a surprise since the host gave no indication of how to get to the apartment. There is a taxi and shuttle bus system on the island but you can't just flag down a taxi and need a public transport card with money on it to get any of the buses or taxis. When we arrived at the apartment there was no answer at the door. When the host did answer she seemed surprised to see us and said we weren't expected until 2pm, although we had informed her of which ferry we were arriving on (and it was already 1:45pm) so check in was a little strange. The apartment was nice but there were no top sheets on the twin beds, also the soap bars in the shower and kitchen sponges were old/used (although the host quickly replaced this when asked). Additionally, the apartment was very hot and when we asked if we could get a fan, we were told it wasn't possible and that we should be thankful we were staying on the ground floor.

We stayed on the middle floor of this beautifully renovated wooden historic house. This floor has amazing water views, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with antique furniture. The owners had thought of every detail. We truly enjoyed our stay.

To put it simply, it was unforgettable and stands out as the best accommodation I've experienced in Istanbul and the Princes' Islands. This charming house, which dates back to the Greek era, has been meticulously renovated with utmost respect for its architectural and interior heritage. It is owned by the sweetest family who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. They not only ensured our comfort but also offered invaluable recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. One of the standout features of this property is the huge terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the Marmara Sea and the Istanbul skyline. Situated in a peaceful residential area, it manages to be both tranquil and conveniently close to the center of the island. The house is also adjacent to a pine forest, making it an ideal starting point for hiking trails. Now, let's talk about the accommodation itself. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the modern bathroom is quite large. The living room is cozy and inviting, with comfortable sofas and armchairs. The beds are simply amazing, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Throughout the house, you'll find numerous antique details, and the gentle lighting creates a truly magical ambiance. Outside, palm trees add to the paradise-like atmosphere. In summary, Büyükada’da Deniz Manzaralı Köşk is an ideal choice for those seeking relaxation, family vacations, or even active getaways that include mountain trekking. It offers an experience that is hard to match. We are incredibly grateful for the unforgettable vacation, the abundant relaxation, and the inspiration it provided.
