Fox Hill

The bed was wonderful. The bathroom and shower better than we had in some 4 star hotels we stayed at in this trip. There was a separate sitting room and bedroom, so rally more than you would expect from a B&B. The host thought of everything - every little detail was flawless. We can’t recommend it enough.

It rained while we were there. Obviously not the Landlord’s fault.

Julie and Mike have done an excellent job on the conversion of this B&B…it’s a real home from home. Friendly hosts who go that extra mile…all the added touches and lovely breakfast hamper.

Nothing not to like!

We stayed for 3 nights and the accommodation was exactly as shown on the photos, lovely, but a bit bigger than the photos suggested. The location was idyllic set in the midst of farmland but within minutes of the town centre. Julie and Mike were both very friendly and attentive to our needs and also provided some good local knowledge of the area. The continental breakfast basket each morning more than met our needs and was excellent. An unexpected bonus was that there were 2 TVs in the accommodation, one in the bedroom as shown and one opposite the sofa in the dining/lounge area. The surrounding countryside is very lovely.

An absolutely fantastic stay. Pictures do not do this lovely place justice. Very comfy bed, very peaceful surroundings and very clean. Special shout out to the owner Julie, who was the perfect host! Thankyou, would definitely recommend xx

The property is of a very high standard from the outside and inside. Amazingly comfy clean feeling. Fresh scones with butter, jam and clotted cream on arrival Snuggly fluffy matching dressing gowns were super soft to relax in The property has everything and more needed for our 2 night stay, Julie & Mike were a lovely couple and made sure we were happy and always around if we needed anything. Breakfast Hamper was absolutely delicious and even made us sausage sandwiches for our journey as we needed to leave early.

There is nothing to dislike at all!

This property is tucked away in the Brompton countryside, where you can share the peace and tranquility with the local wildlife in a very well maintained garden. The property is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and the hosts Julie and Mick have thought of everything. They are at your beck and call without being overwhelming. The friendly town of Northallerton is a short drive away, which offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The accommodation was superb. Everything necessary provided to ensure as comfortable a stay as possible. On top of this, Julie and Mike are truly lovely people, on hand to help, but not in your face.

This was the best B&B we've ever stayed in - thank you Julie for making us so welcome. Amazing in every way!! Fabulous bedroom, bathroom and living/kitchenette area - top quality furnishings and decor. Huge attention to detail and homely extras. Fabulous continental fresh produce breakfast basket, delivered in the morning.

This place is absolutely exceptional, beautiful and Julie has gone above and beyond to make your stay amazing ! It felt like our honeymoon!!

Nothing - all exceptional!

The location was superb. 6 minutes from our evening destination and only 15 mins from our Sunday meeting place. The accommodation was more than we could have hoped for. Not knowing anything about "Fox Hill", we expected it to be a large house with a bedroom and bath/shower. We were shown a barn conversion. We entered through the front door into a lounge with a small kitchen area to the rear. Everything we needed was there, complimentary tea/coffee, home made scones, with jam and cream in a small fridge. 3 small bottles of wine. From the living room we were shown a corridor leading to a large bath/shower room again with all our needs met. Then into a large bedroom with a wardrobe bedside tables. Julie explained that her husband was a builder and he converted the barn to a very high standard. the whole building could be used as a granny flat. Nothing was too much trouble for her
