Grand Lake Hotel

I think this was an old lake resort. The exterior is in disrepair, the pool is out of commission, and the decore is dated to the point of quirky. But, the staff is friendly, the room was immaculate, and it has an overall charm that we thoroughly enjoyed. My only recommendation would be for more pillows... there aren't enough on the bed to prop yourself up to watch TV.

It was inexpensive, clean, safe. Good for the price. The exercise room has a great selection of equipment. Much better options than most hotels.

Was run down. Needs lots of work. Didn't have power near the bed for my CPAP. The bathroom exhaust didn't work. Shower had individual controls no pressure balancing valve.

The hotel is a work in progress to bring it back to its original glory days. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

My wife is mobility challenged, and the ground floor rooms were actually up a flight of stairs. We managed. Some of the decor is dated and is being updated.

Quiet and quirky hotel. Loved the friendly kitties! Staff said the owners are planning various upgrades, which will be cool to see.

Rooms have a musty smell. That's hard to avoid in older buildings - the place was otherwise very clean. There is a space for a breakfast spread, but there was nothing available during our stay.

Loved the free coffee and they upgraded my room - place rocks!

When they finish renovations this place will be a awesome place to stay

The property is very nice and across the street from the lake . If you are looking for a place to sleep, the room was clean and plenty of parking available

the location to meeting with friends was very convenient

Not well kept, no pool area, no one at front desk upon check in. There was an odor to the hallway that was unpleasant.
