Great location, deep into the nature, nice wooden houses. The staff is nice and helpful. The room was very clean and temperature just perfect. Not far from Batukaru temple, which is a must-visit. Ideal for a weekend of relax. I will definitely come back!

For me is not a problem, but for some may be so I will mention: the sound of the cicadas from the jungle is extremely loud, insistent and almost non stop. But is what you can expect from a wood house in the jungle, right? I want to mention also the food, can be way better, I’m a lover of Indonesian food and I’m sorry to say the quality was very poor, especially the dry sate lilit which I usually adore.

This is a very special place, quite different from a standard hotel experience, it was great for us but it is not for everyone. The location is in the jungle, it is unspoiled and not touristy. Beautiful view, you are surrounded by nature (including the sounds!). The first day we were the only guests and it was really magical to just relax and read a book in the yoga room, overlooking the rice fields. We especially enjoyed the activities, the cooking class, the day tour option 2 with Roi (we enjoyed the nature stops much more than the temple on the lake), the jungle trek with Komang and the temple in the jungle. The places we visited were so much better than those on standard tours from ubud! We loved playing with the two young dogs. The owner is a very kind and cool person. Thank you for the unforgettable experience!

Not going to lie, we did miss the comforts, particularly it was too humid as it is the start of the rainy season, so it was difficult to sleep and the clothes were damp. But can't help the weather:)

Une petite parenthèse au coeur des rizières. Merci Dewi pour votre gentillesse et votre patience avec les enfants. C'était un honneur de pouvoir séjourner chez vous, participer à la cuisine et aux offrandes. Les hébergements sont simples et authentiques, très confortables. Nous avons pu observer les lucioles au coucher et des travailleurs dans les rizières au levé. Un séjour hors du temps qui fait du bien :)

Absolute stunning experience and breathtaking place. Imagine being in the middle of a jungle with a garden full of beautiful flowers, trees, fruit and animals. Being surrounded by wild nature and warmly welcomed by an amazing family. I’m going to miss this place and the local vibe. They serve you great food. This place is a gem for anyone looking for a real experience away from tourist areas. It is unique, integrated in nature and absolutely beautiful. The wooden bungalows are rustic in the best sense: authentic, warm and natural (for example, showering while looking at the jungle). Falling asleep to the sound of the forest and waking up to rice fields was one of my favourite parts of the trip. Dewi and her son Candra are wonderful hosts. Dewi is the soul of the house: caring, generous, kind and with an incredible light. Pico, the family dog, is there together with Blacky — a little rescued puppy — and sometimes a white dog they are also taking care of. The way they treat animals says a lot about the place. Don’t miss Dewi’s cooking class: she prepares delicious Balinese food every day and the atmosphere feels like home. Also the massage with Ilu, in the open hall facing the jungle, is a must. I had many shared moments with the family and the team that I will not forget. Even if it looks remote, there is a lot to do nearby (rice terraces, waterfalls, temples). And if you need transport or a scooter, they organise everything — I was driven to my next destination by Roi, a very kind and charming driver they recommended, who took me to Sidemen and with whom I also became friends. This has been one of the highlights of my month in Bali. I stayed six days and I’m already wishing to return. I recommend it to anyone wanting to experience nature while being welcomed by a real Balinese family. I take this place with me in my heart.🥰🙏🏼

L’accueil et la sympathie de Dewi. Nous nous sentons comme à la maison, le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner étaient juste incroyable, nous avons super bien mangé ! Le cadre était juste époustouflant, ressourcement garanti

Quand vous choisissez de venir chez Dewi, vous savez ce que vous venez chercher. De la jungle, de la nature, de la bienveillance, du calme, des moments de partage, et tout ceci dans un écologie sublime. L'accueil est excellent et tout de suite on se sent comme chez sois. L'environnement est sublime, le jardin paysagé, les rizieres, les cabanes.... Les cours de cuisine sont tres fun et vous mangez ensuite votre production. Le service de location de scooter pour circuler dans cette magnifique région, Le service de taxi avec Roi, qui a été tout a fait chamant, nous a présenté sa maison, sa famille, son temple familial et nous a guidé dans un chouette trip vers munduk. Les massages dans la salle de yoga par des therapeutes expérimentées. Dormir sans fenêtres en toute sécurité Les bruits de la jungle. Et enfin dewi, son fils candra, iluh.....merci merci et merci encore 🥰

Rien mais pour les personnes sensibles au bruit la nuit, pensez au boules quies.
