Oemah Tepi Sawah

Dewi et son équipe, Roi notre chauffeur, pour la journée visite, qui est vraiment exceptionnel (d’ailleurs on lui a demandé de continuer avec nous pour nos futurs trajets), les petits déjeuners, la coking class, le lit très confortable, la nature et les LUCIOLES!!! Nous avons été extrêmement chanceux!

Les toilettes et la douche complètement à l’extérieur ont été un peu compliqués pour nous mais on savait que cette partie serait délicate et la gentillesse de toute l’équipe a vite fait oublié ce détail!

This is a beautiful, tranquil, and unique lodge in the Balinese mountains. I chose it as I wanted a break from the unrelenting heat of coastal North Bali. Oemah Tepi Sawah is up in a stunning mountain plateau with warm days and delightfully cool evenings. I had a spacious villa, which was charming and serene. Check out the different rooms as they have varying combinations of spaces and bathroom arrangements, but they are all idyllic. The hospitality was amazing. Dewi is a wonderful host and very well organised. The food was healthy, delicious, and unique. The superb cook, Anggi, made amazing dinners, especially the soups. I also had two massages from Iluh. The first one hour massage was so relaxing that I booked a second for one and a half hours. The jungle and mountain trekking made for an excellent day. Putu Nova, Kadek Komar, and Komang Deduk are engaging, knowledgeable, and helpful guides. I went trekking with other guests and we all enjoyed their company. Kadek Komar is also a driver and drove me from Lovina to Oemah Tepi Sawah and then to Sanur. I well recommend Kadek Komar as a driver. This is a beautiful place, and I plan on returning every other year. It is the perfect place to stop for a while as you drive between North and South Bali. I plan on stopping here for a few nights in both directions for my future trips to Bali from now on.

Ce lieu est incroyable et Dewi et sa petite équipe aussi. J ai pas mal voyagé mais des lieux qui dégagent autant de sérénité, d authenticité et de calme c est rare. A l orée de la forêt et des rizières, le home stay est beau et confortable bien qu authentique. Si vous voulez de la Clim, ou du coca, passez votre chemin. Des cours de cuisine jusqu aux daytrips en passant par les massages ou le yoga, tout est formidable. Le tout avec la discrétion et la chaleur balinaise. Ne cherchez plus , vous êtes au paradis

I loved everything about this place! Dewi is such a warm, loving, creative woman and her place has a soul of its own. Peaceful vibes, quiet mornings, healing, jungle sounds, homemade food. Oemah tepi sawah and Dewi definitely have my heart! I will be back and spend more time here.

Dewi is een fantastische gastvrouw die er alles aan doet om je te helpen er een mooie tijd van te maken. Ze faciliteert tourtjes, massages, maar ook een yogales in de ochtend (met prachtig uitzicht) en daarna een heerlijk ontbijt. Terug naar rust en ontspanning in een prachtige omgeving (-:

We stayed just one night, but it was a truly special experience. The villa is right in the jungle! So close to nature. Big thanks to Dewi for her warm hospitality. She made us feel very welcome, prepared a delicious local breakfast, and helped us order a taxi since the place is quite remote. You can also join cooking or yoga classes and even go on jungle trips if you stay longer. We wish we had more time here. Thank you, Dewi!
