Tyr Ywen Cottage

We loved pretty much everything. The views are stunning! Loved the horses and the hot tub. The location and the accommodation.

The beds are uncomfortable and don’t seem as luxurious as the rest of the cottage/ facilities. A king size bed would be a great asset.

Beautifully clean and located. The owner Clare has thought of everything! Particularly liked sitting in the garden for breakfast looking over to Skirrid and seeing hares leaping around in the adjacent field. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely location, great views, quiet.

Everything had been thought through, robes and slippers for the hot tub, all necessary cooking equipment, log burning stove. Just a beautiful well kept property, will definitely be coming again.

Views! Hot tub Rural but still close to town

Tyr Ywen Cottage is finished to a very high standard indeed. All fixtures and fittings are high quality and extremely tasteful. The rooms are very well proportioned and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is clear the owners take massive pride in the cottage. We already tried to book it again… just need to jiggle our weeks as it is very very popular! Outside the views are breathtaking! The hot tub is the best I’ve ever used. Also hearing the horses clip clop down the road was lovely 🥰

Personally, I do not like leather sofas but I understand why they are the owners choice as they are easy to clean in this type of property. A BBQ would have been great as the weather was wonderful and we love to cook outdoors…

The location of the property was stunning set in the Welsh hills. Claire the host was very friendly and extremely accommodating. The property was spacious, well equipped with amazing views.
