"Lovely little coaching inn - perfect for a weekend break"

Nice little pub hotel, comfortable and cosy. Good fish and chips and great location

It’s very dark and a tv balanced on a desk doesn’t work - not so great for a work trip

Parking, was limited Breakfast, poor choice for continental, niot worth the money. Cereals were in packets. Cooked breakfast was good. Coffee was rubbish, unless you paid for a machine coffee Overall dissappointing, overpriced

checkin was great at as they allowed me to check nearly .

Skylight in bedroom , no one showed me how to work electric blind so was woken at 4am by the sun beaming in. Breakfast area had no one when I got there had to ask receptionist where every one was after making my own coffee

"Didn't reach our expectations for a Best Western"

Comfortable beds, the cooked breakfast was good. Waitress at breakfast was friendly and helpful.

The continental breakfast was poor with no selection of cheese, meat or bread. Room was dark and cramped with no chairs. TV position was poor to watch comfortably. Only place to plug in kettle was on unit in front of TV due to a short kettle flex and no other surface. Staff welcome at reception was subdued.

Dinner was very good and the service from Sean in the bar was first class. Room was fine but a little grubby in places such as the door frame had marks on it that needed cleaning. Bed was very comfortable. Need bigger glasses for water in the room.

I was unable to add a service to the bar bill to tip the staff and so they had an unneccessarily complicated way for me to tip. Check out also seemed a little fidgety compared to normal hotels, but as someone was being trained it wasn't a problem, more just a comment.
