hotel is ideally placed as a base if you want to explore area and near glasgow . we had lunch and it was very good and dinner at night was excellent .room was clean and fine size for us .hotel situated in quiet village so was good for a walk

"We needed a comfortable, quiet place to stay and hit the jackpot"

We needed to move out of an apartment we had booked which was disastrous. From many years ago remembered the hotel and drove there to find out what was available. We needed 2 rooms and we were well helped at reception, viewed the rooms and booked both rooms for 2 nights Everything was first class. We had one lunch there but we were eating with family elsewhere so did not have breakfasts or dinners. Great that the bedrooms are all on one floor so can be very quite with no-one above or below.

Nothing it was perfection. We chose rooms that were not facing the car park or the main road so were able to have silence. The rooms were well decorated, beds extremely comfortable, all staff first class, helpful, smiling.
