After 15 years working in hospitality, staying in La Terraza Suite and being welcomed by Victor Hugo and his family reminded me what true hospitality is all about—making people feel completely at home, full stop. What initially drew me in was the high rating and a comment about the incredibly comfortable beds and pillows. But what I found went far beyond that. Every detail was thoughtful, communication was fast and attentive, and somehow my needs were met before I even voiced them. I came for the waves, and they delivered. Hugo even arranged a boat to take us out, so we didn’t have to paddle—like something out of a dream. The neighborhood has everything you might need: a bakery, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket—all just around the corner. And being slightly outside the main tourist zone let me experience a bit of local life too. I only had five nights and 6 days here, but I’m already leaving my surfboard behind—because I know I’ll be coming back, and next time, for much longer. Gracias por todo! – Benny

Beautifully done, very nice place to stay.

The place is a very thought through balance between a indipendent flat and a family vibe with a great terrace , incredibly clean rooms , hot water , HUGE flat tv ( which we actually enjoyed !) fast WiFi ( I was able to work, have conferences and watch Netflix with no problems . ) The welcoming environment and victor’s family is what adds spices on this perfect place. Always Available for every thing, well acknowledged about the place , and precise about indication. That’s the place to be in chicama ( Puerto malabrigo ) It’s not the sea side room which is offered around , but it’s 5min walking from the beach , 1min from the square and the market. I actually enjoyed the location a bit more protected from the wind and pleasant in the terrace .
