In the heart of Marloth with bush, wild animals. Just what you need to rest relax and reset after a long year in the city. The stoep is an absolute gem where lots of family time and bonding happens. This is where you truly unwind look at the kids in the pool and enjoy the sounds of the bush and the animals that will walk past looking to feed….. Various buck species and warthogs cane to feed everyday. Including the cute bush baby that came to visit at night. Around the braai you have nice seating that you can have a proper South African kuier om die vuur. Spacious and fully equipped kitchen with 3 bedrooms , 1 en-suite and 1 x full bathroom. Looking forward to our next stay when back in South Africa Susan provided clear instructions on where to find the key and all other information before our stay so that we could just get the key and enter the property without any issues.

Garden and braai area was beautifull

Lights are very poor, place is dark and lights wasnt working or not connected. Shower was dirty and the taps broken. Kitchen cupboards was old and damaged and not clean. The pool shade was broken or just removed

In the bush …. and in tranquility. The home has everything one needs. In my opinion the verandah under thatch lapa is the heart of the property. It is here where you will unwind and enjoy the sounds of the bush and the animals that will walk past looking to feed….. including Kudu, bushbuck, wildebeest and warthog on my stay. Of course every evening the bushbabies will come to visit. Be sure to leave a little fruit out for them. The braai area and splash pool are next to the lapa are great. I also really enjoyed the spacious interior of the house and kitchen. Looking forward to my next stay :)

Bring your mosquito plug-in repellents and sprays with you. They can be purchased at the local Spar in Komatipoort if need be.

Lovely house that is in a convenient location in Marloth. The kitchen was huge and well equipped. We only used one of the beds but it was comfy. The outside space was great with a good braai and firepit area. Visited by animals daily. We would use again. Swenkie the cleaner was superb - meticulous in his cleaning.

The road is a bit rough but we managed in a 2-wheel sedan. The upstairs bedroom (which we never used) is up a steep staircase. Check if towels are included. We asked and they were which was great as we were coming from abroad. Would have been nice to have a hairdryer too.
