The Amazing Loft

Great location, parking by the front door, very pleasant and clean apartment.

This was my second time staying in this apartment. It is very cozy, clean and newly furnished. The location is very close to the center of Lj and has many restaurants and shops close by. The hosts are very kind and always available to answer any questions.

Everything was amazing! The host was great and helpful. The apartment is in an old factory building which gives it a cool and alternative vibe. And everything was super clean and tidy. Love it! Would recommend.

Affordability, location and cleanliness

The location is great, near the city center. There is a good parking in front of the building. The communication with the hosts is very easy and correct. The apartment is clean and well equipped.

The isolation is a bit bad, so it can get noisy, but there was no noise during the resting hours.

Well-located, clean, nice TV with connection to personal accounts (Prime, Netflix), warm, cosy. Easy contact with the owner, who was polite and helped with solutions for anything I required.

If you are easily annoyed by noise, the wooden floors of this old building and the thin walls will make you hear quite loudly the steps over your head, the main corridor, etc, and everything your neighbours are doing or talking. This is quite annoying at certain hours because the building has a lot of people walking along the corridors because there are offices and premises for other uses in the building.

Easy to get into the property with door code The warmth of the property when we got in The mezzanine bedroom - the decor was fab with wooden beams and artwork. Good location to city centre about a 20 minute walk and out of the centre to visit the Broken Bones Distillery (The only distillery in Slovenia for Gin and Whiskey) - a highlight of the trip. Free fridge magnet to take home - great little surprise.

The directions given on WhatsApp didn't match the location of the room so it took us longer too find the room when we arrived later that evening. The building smelt like wet dog when we arrived and the next day so it wasn't a great start. Lots of rubbish next to the vending machines also, it was cleared the next day. Remember to click the hot water button on the outside of the bathroom for the boiler to kick in otherwise its cold showers. Takes about 10 minutes to get hot. The sofa wasn't that comfortable so when watching TV we had to take the TV and desk upstairs to be comfortable. Behind the sofa was dusty and dirty so we didn't feel comfortable pulling this out and lying here. Would be good to offer more in the kitchen- a bottle opener , baking tray would have been useful for our stay and potentially some water or milk in the fridge for when people arrive. Coffee was offered but nothing else.
