Arabel Riverside Apartment with Swimming Pool

I have been to Arabel and to Abby Apartment they are almost the same. Everything like the pictures show. - Had the pool 2 times for me alone - Wifi strong - decent TV - Free tea, coffee, sugar, salt, oil - very clean

- only warm shower not hot - water from the dispenser taste like chlorine

Levný, hezký, čistý a výborně vybavený apartmán. Byli jsme tu jen pár hodin po příchodu z Mount Kenya, odpočinuli jsme si u bazénu, který mohl být čistší. Příjemný personál, teplá voda, kuchyně, lednice s mrazákem, pohodlné postele, velké ručníky v koupelně. Přímo u stanice autobusů do Nairobi a jinam.

Simple studio apartment , handy for town. Close to where the Matatus stopped. Lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. The owner was also good and responded to messages etc. reasonably quiet , can hear some noise. Market stalls and supermarket close by, there’s a local one then a big cedar mall up the road. We walked to that one and got a taxi back with shopping. If you are doing a safari here , dusty rest safaris are local and amazing ! On Google etc. Really good value and we saw so many animals in buffalo springs and Ol pojeta. Support local !

We were cooking for ourselves and there was only one pan which is really annoying , you need a minimum of 2 and maybe a frying pan. So it would be good if the owner could add those for other people booking. Top tip we’ve learned here is you can toast bread in a frying pan! There was a gas hob and microwave and a fridge. Some good info to get food in. Be good to have info in places like this about where to get basics locally as well. We used Google. 2 plates only and no bowls was a bit strange! We ate cereal out of a plastic container we had 🤣 We were really surprised at the lack of basics, also there was a kettle but only one mug. So we used a glass for the other person to have tea.
