An Unforgettable Stay – The Epitome of Greek Hospitality From the moment we arrived, the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, they not only recommended incredible local spots to visit but also treated us to the best of Cretan hospitality. They offered us honey from their own production (a must-buy!), pointed us to a nearby local cheese producer just a minute away — the taste was truly indescribable — and surprised us with fresh eggs, fruit, and a freshly baked cake. Breakfast here felt like a luxury hotel spread, only more personal and heartfelt. As a frequent traveler, I’ve noticed how rare these thoughtful touches are — these days, you’re lucky if there’s even a bottle of water in the fridge. This experience completely reset my expectations. The House – Spotless and Exceptionally Equipped The house itself was immaculately clean and had everything we needed and more: washing machine, dishwasher, all essential kitchen appliances, air conditioner, iron, hairdryer, and super comfortable mattresses and pillows. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged for comfort. But the true highlight? The beautiful yard — full of flowers, herbs in pots, and stunning mountain views. It’s the perfect space to unwind, recharge, and enjoy nature’s peace. A true retreat. Ideal Location The location is fantastic for those looking to explore traditional Cretan villages, yet still under an hour’s drive to Rethymno. It’s perfect for road trip lovers looking for authenticity and easy access to both culture and nature. Final Thoughts We genuinely can’t recommend this place enough. It was more than just accommodation — it was an experience. Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely be back!

Όλα ήταν υπέροχα , το σπίτι προσεγμένο στη διακόσμηση, στους χώρους του , ευρύχωρο , με αυλή και ό,τι χρειάζεσαι για να νιώθεις σαν το σπίτι σου. Οι οικοδεσπότες καταπληκτικοί άνθρωποι φιλόξενοι , ευγενικοί. Εννοείται ότι θα το επισκεφτούμε ξανά.

La struttura é molto accogliente, tutto nuovo, molto pulita e gli host sono davvero molto gentili e disponibili. Ci hanno accolto con grande disponibilità ed attenzione e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa.

Περάσαμε υπέροχα και το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα για επιλογή. Εξαίρετοι οι οικοδεσπότες με απρόσμενη οργάνωση για το καλωσόρισμα και για την διαμονή με μοναδικές κρητικές γεύσεις, όπως και στην υποστήριξη του σπιτιού σε ότι χρειαστκαμε. Η κατοικία ευρύχωρη με πολύ καλές λεπτομέρειες κατασκευής προσαρμοσμένες στο φυσικό περιβάλλον. Η καθαριότητα του σπιτιού μοναδική με υπογράμμιση. Καταπληκτικός επίσης ο ευρυχωρος περιβάλλων χώρος της για ξεκούραση και χαλάρωση μέσα στην φύση Ευχαριστούμε Δέσποινα και Μάρκο, καλή αντάμωση!

Peaceful, picturesque and authentic environment, breathtaking mountain views, good connection to both coastlines. The house itself is very cosy, bright, clean, filled with the Cretan vibe. It stands atop of a small village, providing a natural pleasant coolness. We almost did no use air conditioning, since it was not needed. It is equipped with everything you might need, we traveled with three kids and had no troubles whatsoever. We would especially like to mention the hosts. We travel often, and it’s rare to encounter such heartfelt warmth and hospitality. They were very caring and ready to help with everything, would occasionally bring us delicious homemade food and even let us try fresh goat milk from their own goats! We would definitely come back in the future!
