Two bedroom homestay with private entrance in convenient location

Great comfortable and clean two bedroom home stay. Lovely hosts and in a good location.

The price and location of the property was perfect for our stay because it was only a short walk to visit nearby relatives. The two bedrooms and bathroom were fresh, clean and very comfortable, and as the rooms were mainly at the back of the property (ie. away from the very busy main street), the rooms were lovely and quiet.

The living/dining room and kitchen were actually located in a carpeted garage. While this arrangement was unexpected, we were ok with this. Except that there was no TV in the 'living room' and while there was new cutlery and crockery, the cooking facilities were not of the standard we expected of a basic self-contained property (especially the supplied old solid-ring plug in hotplate that struggled to even get hot enough to fry a steak without stewing it). There are also no facilities outside to just sit, relax and enjoy the pleasant weather. The TV located in the main bedroom had no antenna connection for live TV, and for streaming we found the WIFI connectivity to be inconsistent - frequently shutting down or freezing programs during viewing. Maybe the WIFI signal might have been struggling to cope with the many household users (ie. the owners and us). Finally, while the property is listed as a 'homestay', any sounds from the property owners' in the rooms above or next door was unavoidable.

Great location close by the airport. Clean and easy to check in, with comfy beds and a lovely bathroom.
