Marine Apartment Whitley Bay Seaside Location Free Onsite Parking

The Appartment was lovely , location very quiet .Had an issue with the bathroom a leaking bath but it was soon sorted.

This is a large well appointed ground floor unit with parking that's close to both beach and town. We love the kitchen, washing machine, views from the front bay windows, large lounge to spread out in, and the modern bathroom. We would definitely stay again.

Nice clean apartment in a great convenient location for beach and amenities.

More towels would have been nice but we managed.

We really enjoyed our stay. Whitley Bay is a fantastic location. On the whole the area is well looked after and everywhere looks clean and well cared for. The apartment had plenty of room for the two of us; large bedroom and living area. The kitchen had everything we needed (I don't cook when away but I think everything was there). We had front and rear access and it was only a short walk to the well kept beach and central area. Co-op only a short hop away and perfect for picking up breakfast pastries! I enjoy an early morning walk and enjoyed great walks along the beach. There were plenty of dog walkers around and I felt safe and comfortable even at 6am. Everyone was very friendly. For us, La Casetta and Trenchers were good places to eat. We went to a rugby game at Kingston Park but also visited Seaton Delaval, Warkworth, St Mary's lighthouse, Amble, Low Newton (best crab sandwiches ever at The Ship Inn) and Rileys Fish Shack. There is so much more to do in the area. (Cragside is a must for National Trust members).

I don't think I want to criticise anything as we enjoyed our stay, My only comment would be that if you are used to a large bath sheet, take your own. Towels were good quality but smaller than we are used to.

This apartment is brilliantly situated a short walk from Whitley Bay promenade. The private parking space (out the back gate of the building) is such a great feature. The apartment has especially good heating, and a lot of space in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom is good too. Great oven and microwave.

Various things in the place didn't seem particularly clean (cutlery, other things) or taken care of/not used for a while. Clocks not working or not changed etc. Doors on the TV cabinet hanging off. Coffee gone solid in the tub. No salt (not much in the kitchen on the whole, compared with most other places we've stayed). It's minor things but gives an overall vibe of the place. Also the front door buzzer is faulty so when we first entered it sounded like a fire alarm was going off. The only way to solve it is by leaving the handset off the hook. The sofa bed, which we requested to use, is pretty uncomfortable. Don't use it, trust me on that! The location and parking space really make it all worth it though.

Being ground floor enabled easy access to the apartment being disabled this was a must. The location was a short walk from the town and on the sea front almost. The apartment was spacious and with all facilities. Very comfortable and convenient for shops and restaurants
