Beautiful Modern Scenic Leeds City Apartment, Ongoing furbishment

I love the location and how easy accessible this is.

Wasn’t much I didn’t like I enjoyed everything

The only good thing I can say is that the property has a decent view, and the location is good.

Everything else is negative, and I can only endorse the poor comments from other users. It started with no response to our request about possibility of an early check in. When we got there, things only got worse. The apartment building is under renovation which doesn't make it welcoming, and whilst that is beyond the apartment owners control it should be disclosed. More importantly though access is via seven flights of stairs with no lift. I am in my 60's and found it a struggle to get there with bags. But the real horror show was when we got in the flat. It hadn't been cleaned, the bed linen was used, as were the towels which were damp and on the bathroom floor. The toilet and bathroom were dirty and rubbish was in the kitchen. We booked for three people and no linen or towels were provided for the sofa bed. The flat itself was also unbearably hot. The windows are sealed units and do not open so there is no ventilation and the corridors all have fire doors so the heat is just retained. We had no response from the owners either during our stay or after. This was not a cheap stay and I can honestly say I have never had a worse experience.

Building under construction - not told about this. No access to the flat via lift. Toilet not working. Shower drained poorly. Actual bed and sofa bed terribly uncomfortable. No ventilation in the flat, uncomfortable and boiling hot. Barely clean, floor filthy, stains everywhere, disgusting. Basics not provided - no toilet paper, hand wash or other toiletries apart from tiniest shower gel half empty, all things claimed to be provided. Tried to contact owners multiple times at beginning of stay and had a response less than 12 hours before check out time. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

The flat was in a perfect location and somewhat comfortable.

It wasn't the cleanest, stains on the sofa and it was obviously the floor had not been cleaned. On one day there were a group of 20-30 teenagers in the stairway which was pretty unpleasant and intimidating to walk past. And the building itself is under renovation which wasn't stated, and the smell was not pleasant.

It was clean and had a nice kitchen.

The main problem was the flat was extremely hot inside and there was no way of cooling down - the windows don't open and there was no thermostatic control. The mattress was uncomfortable. The host didn't resolve these issues, although I asked straight away.

Smell in the building of Urine and in the flat too there was an awful smell of weed. Poor instructions and poor communications. Flat took 45 minutes to find when in the building. No lift.

The appartment is very complete. Everything you need is there and the location is perfect, withing a few minutes you are in Leeds city centre. The owner was an absolute gem during the stay. Every question was answered right away and the service was top tier.
