Lovely property, clean, stylish and great location.

I get check in times are what they are but Iv never been asked to pay £30 for an earlier check in by 2 hours and Iv stayed many hotels/apartments. A little flexibility when possible would be good. Other than that it’s a great place.

I absolutely loved how incredibly clean the apartment was — every little detail, every corner was spotless! It felt so neat and luxurious. The location was also perfect: not too far from the city centre, yet peaceful and quiet, away from all the noise. I really enjoyed waking up in the morning, grabbing a coffee and a pastry from a nearby café just a few minutes’ walk away, and exploring the beautiful surroundings. There’s even a stunning old church nearby that gives total Harry Potter vibes! Everything about this place was perfect — the cleanliness, the comfort, and the location. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Edinburgh, and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family.

Honestly, everything was absolutely perfect! The only tiny thing worth mentioning is that the apartment is on the top floor, and carrying our large, heavy luggage up the stairs was quite the workout 😄. It’s not a big issue at all — just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with heavy bags. That said, I completely understand why there’s no elevator — it would take away from the beautiful historical charm of the building. I’d happily carry my bags up again rather than lose that lovely authentic vibe!

We had a fantastic stay at Dragon Suites Hydra. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable, with excellent facilities that made us feel right at home. The space was well laid out and beautifully maintained, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is ideal, quiet, and close to shops restaurants and bars.
