The location is at the center of Melaka.

So many visible defects at the wall (living room area,toilet)

The building itself so distinctive

The bed need the new one and need new pluffy pillow

the building is almost die off. all shop and facilities in the building all close shop.

Very bad impression once go up to parking, look like abundant project and very dark carpark. Totally different from what advertise in your picture.

This is my third time at this property, and though under a different host it was just as affordable (compared to many other stays in Melaka, especially considering the low cleaning fee). As before, the property's location was good. Many of Melaka's famous historical places and tourist attractions (including the Stadthuys church, the Melaka River Cruise, Jonker Street, and the A Famosa Fort) are well within 10-15 minutes of driving (less on a good day, though prepare to use your GPS as roads in Melaka are confusing). On top of that, the Melaka Gateway island is right behind the property and is accessible by walking (though it's better to use a car). There is a convenience store at the base of the building, but if you live in Tower A (which I believe this host serves exclusively) you'll have to walk all the way to Tower B for the store. There is ample parking space in the property, since there are four floors dedicated to parking and there are no fixed lots (parking is on a first-come, first-served basis). The room was quite cozy, and can easily accommodate 4 people (6 is possible if some don't mind sleeping on the floor even). The bathroom includes a bathtub, which is again a pleasant surprise for this price point. The hosts gave very clear instructions and were a pleasure to deal with. The checkin and checkout process was very streamlined. The rainshower was noticably faster to heat in this room than the last two times I came, which is a pleasant surprise.

The bathtub has minor rusting on the drain cover, which was a minor pet peeve. The room also had quite a few strands of hair, which is also a minor personal pet peeve. The room key given to us was a little filmsy and required more careful handling than usual. There wasn't any mini table for any group activities like card games. There was a stand in the room but it was not nearly big enough (though this might be a non-issue for most). Like my previous stay, the shower room is also a bit small/cramped, so people who like hot baths might want to open the shower door from time to time to allow airflow. (The bathtub is fine though - there's plenty of airflow there.)
